Floor Launch — AI-Native ERP for Flooring Contractors

An AI-native operating system for flooring contractors — CRM, estimates, jobs, EDI supplier ordering, invoices, payments and accounting in one platform. I'm the founding full-stack engineer and architect.

2026-01 — Present

Key Highlights

  • Replaced an $18M-revenue pilot client's ~$14K/month legacy stack
  • Built by a fleet of parallel coding agents in isolated git worktrees, landing through a merge queue
  • 2,700+ PRs merged personally, gated by a 245-test Playwright suite
  • Claude tool-use analytics agent: 5 tools, 8-step loop, RLS-scoped
  • X12 EDI supplier ordering, two-way QuickBooks Online sync, Stripe and Xero

Overview

Floor Launch replaces the patchwork of legacy software flooring contractors run on. One platform covers CRM, estimates, jobs, purchase orders, EDI supplier ordering, warehouse, payments, customer portals and accounting. It replaced an $18M-revenue pilot client's ~$14K/month legacy stack.

My Role

Founding full-stack engineer, architect and PM since inception: data model, application layer, integrations, deployment and the way the product gets built.

How it's built: a fleet of agents

  • Every stream of work is a slice: its own git worktree off `main`, its own draft PR, its own Cloudflare preview deploy.
  • Parallel coding agents work the slices; a merge queue lands them, so `main` stays green.
  • Every merge is gated by a 245-test Playwright end-to-end suite and 31 CI workflows.
  • I've merged 2,700+ PRs myself this way.
  • AI in the product

  • Analytics agent: a Claude tool-use loop (SQL, aggregates, journeys, notes, stage timing; 8 steps max, scoped by row-level security) that answers business questions in plain English.
  • PO confirmation scanner: Claude reads supplier confirmations and reconciles them against purchase orders.
  • Integrations

X12 EDI supplier ordering over SFTP, bidirectional QuickBooks Online sync, Stripe, Xero — with idempotency and partial-failure recovery on every transaction.
