Overview

Winner, [Photon] Agents in iMessage track, Hacklanta '26 — [see it on Devpost](https://devpost.com/software/ingineer).

Ingenium puts a team of AI agents in your iMessage. Text Ing, and an orchestrator pulls in the specialists a goal needs — a planner, a ride, a food order — each locked to its own sources. The agents vote with tapbacks, and Ing moves on after 60 seconds so nothing stalls.

My Contributions

  • Owned the spec and led a 4-person team; wrote 42 of the repo's 64 commits in 72 hours.
  • Built the orchestrator that hands roles to agents from a menu of 8, per goal.
  • Made it fault-tolerant across laptops: a Neon Postgres lease (renewed every 5 s, 20 s lifetime) means any machine can take over and only one is ever live.
  • Set up CI so every push to `main` typechecks and deploys to Fly.io; built the pitch deck for judging.
  • What came next

Ingenium was forked into [Vince](/projects/vince), an always-on AI chief of staff.
